Courses We Offer:
 
The course of study shall be for two completed academic years. In the first year M.Sc. Nursing course the following three subjects shall be the common subjects to all candidates irrespective of specially chosen:
1. Nursing Education
2. Advance Nursing Practice
3. Nursing research and statistics
Candidates may choose any one of the branches of study at the time of admission. No change of branch of study be permitted after a candidate joins the course.
1. Medical surgical nursing
2. Obstetrics and Gynecological nursing
3. Pediatric (Child health) nursing
4. Psychiatric (Mental health) nursing
5. Community health nursing
In the second year M.Sc Nursing course the subject "Nursing Management" Shall be common to all candidate irrespective of subject specially chosen.

Student Nurses Association

A unit of Student Nurses Association is the laudable features of our institution. Every year the delegates are elected by the student nurses association members and every month student nurses association meeting is conducted by the delegates. The Student's nurses association promotes curricular & extra curricular activities promotes curricular & extra curricular activities at collegiate, intercollegiate and nation level in order to develop professional growth and to encourage social, cultural and spiritual enrichment. In view of education as total development of individual, the Student Nurses Association provides a number of opportunities to participate in cultural programs, sports, game and also workshops, conference, educational tours, picnic etc.

The objective of SNA units are as follows:
  1. To Promote a sense of unity among students for the common goal
  2. To increase the students social contact and general knowledge
  3. To encourage both professional and recreational activities such as meting, sports and games
  4. To help students uphold the dignity and ideals of a profession for which they are qualifying
  5. To provide a special section in the nursing journal of India for the benefit of students and to encourage the students to complete for prizes in the student nurses exhibition and to attend national conferences.
